Crypto Market Sentiment Analysis Tools Users Recommend

The crypto market sentiment analysis tools users recommend most are LunarCrush and Santiment for social sentiment, CoinGlass for derivatives data, and DefiLlama for on-chain metrics. Used together, they help you gauge market mood, track narratives, and spot unusual activity before it becomes obvious.

LunarCrush gives a decent read on when narratives are getting overheated, though users note it is not perfect. Santiment, along with similar tools like IntoTheBlock, combines social sentiment, on-chain data such as whale inflows and outflows, developer activity, and media coverage, which makes it good for spotting hype cycles before they explode.

For derivatives, CoinGlass is considered the standard, with funding rates, open interest, and liquidation data that work as sentiment indicators for futures trading. Many users open DefiLlama and CoinGlass together for a quick market overview, one for spot and on-chain context, one for derivatives analytics, and some add Glassnode for macro BTC data. Remember that sentiment can be manipulated or noisy, so how you interpret the data matters more than the tool itself.

For the past two years I have been creating a platform that aggregates data regarding sentiment in the cryptocurrency market. I am trying to make it look professional, however, it is still an after-hours project. We are creating it in two people with my colleague, at the same time working full time.

I'm taking the liberty of sharing it here because I haven't added any monetisation yet - everything can be used for free.

What does the project deliver

I analyse all platforms - 4chan, users, telegram groups, discord groups, twitter, youtube, news - directly from various countries including more widely in Asia. Every thread and speech is analysed in relation to the coins, the sentiment of the threads and the statements for each coin are counted.

For each coin there is a live monitoring of appearances on each platform, displaying the latest news and most popular tweets from top accounts list.Additionally, all posts that mention a particular coin on Users, Twitter/X or 4chan are listed.

[1.jpg]( AI part

Each news item is analysed by a text model, a summary is generated. We have data on what the sentiment of the news is on a given day, what coins are being discussed and so on.There are separate scrapers for the Chinese, Japanese, Korean markets. Chinese articles are scaned and searched by baidu.cn, each article is analysed separately, with the AI text model solving the language barrier problem.

[2.jpg](

The platform provide exposure to information from Asian markets beyond the language barrier.

Data collection is subject to compression, we extend the text model with a layer in which the data is compressed, so that in the next iteration far more data can be packed into it than would normally be the case. This provides summaries of news and youtube videos from around the world. You can get a pill of information.

[5.jpg](

This gives the model access to the latest data with exponentially increased data limits and access to historical and current data. This is how we generate summaries for a period of a day or more, what was happening in the English-speaking, Chinese market.

[3.jpg](

In addition, it is possible to view sorted coins according to the highest mention count, sentiment, and there is a bubbles chart with highest sentiment.I would like to add the option that, based on the portfolio, the project provides an assistant that shows what is written about the portfolio coins on X and other platforms, what its sentiment is and shows similar coins to buy and informs about the moment to sell.

[4.jpg](

[6.jpg]( Now the big question - does it help make money?

Already testing the data in earnest since the beginning of the year, the platform showed coins before their increases such as

$LINU x30

$AVIATIOR - x15

$SOLAMA - x12

Not many people are using the platform yet. If anyone wants to test it - you can register for free - there is a link to the discord on check-your-bags.com - there the bot is giving away beta keys. There is a limit of keys, due to the performance of the cloud infrastucture - it costs quite a lot, so I don't have a high package.

I would be very grateful for feedback on whether the project has potential, makes sense and whether you think it will help make money in the market.

Hey everyone,

I've been working on a crypto futures analysis tool (built with AI pair programming - Claude specifically, since I'm not a developer by trade).

Currently using these 7 strategies: - MACD (crossovers + histogram momentum) - RSI (oversold/overbought + divergence) - Stochastic RSI (faster signals) - Bollinger Bands (squeeze + breakout) - EMA Cross (9/21, 50/200) - Volume analysis (relative volume spikes) - Funding Rate (sentiment indicator)

Also experimenting with Facebook Prophet for price forecasting (4h/12h/24h windows).

My questions for experienced algo traders:

  1. What indicators do you find most reliable for crypto futures specifically? Any that work better than traditional markets?

  2. For those using ML/forecasting - what's your experience? Useful or just noise?

  3. How do you handle conflicting signals? (e.g., RSI says oversold but MACD still bearish)

  4. Any "must-have" that I'm clearly missing?

Would appreciate any insights from those with more experience.

(I am not here to promote any product, service, any tools , website . I am just sharing my personal experience and knowledge about this tools)Lately I’ve been experimenting with a few AI-driven tools for crypto trading. Not gonna lie, most “AI trading bots” sound like scams, but some platforms actually provide data and insights that can be useful if you know how to apply them. I wanted to share what I found after digging into three of the bigger names: Nansen AI, SwissBorg’s indicators, and Santiment (plus similar on-chain/social tools).

  1. Nansen AI

Nansen recently added an AI chatbot on top of their wallet and on-chain analytics. The idea is you can literally ask questions like “What tokens are smart money accumulating right now?” and it’ll scan wallets, flows, and sentiment data.

Good for

  • Spottingwallet moves (whales, funds, insiders) early.
  • Combining multiple data sources (on-chain + social + market).
  • Speed way faster than manually combing through dashboards.

Weak spots:

  • Still AI → can misinterpret context or hallucinate.
  • Signals are only as good as your timing; by the time you see a whale move, price may already reflect it.
2. SwissBorg (CyBorg Predictor & indicators)

SwissBorg leans on machine learning for short-term forecasts (like 24h predictions) and technical/sentiment dashboards.

Good for:

  • Quick, easy-to-digest predictions without coding.
  • Combining tech + sentiment in one place.
  • Useful as a second opinion on setups.

Weak spots:

  • Forecast horizon is short, can be noisy.
  • Indicators sometimes lag or flip late.
  1. Santiment / Similar tools (IntoTheBlock, LunarCrush)

These aggregate social sentiment, on-chain data (whale inflows/outflows), developer activity, and media coverage.

Good for:

  • Spotting hype cycles before they explode.
  • On-chain activity signals you won’t see on TradingView.
  • Alerts on unusual activity (big inflows, dev spikes, etc.)

Weak spots:

  • Sentiment can be manipulated or noisy.
  • Too many signals = analysis paralysis if you don’t filter well.

    Big Picture Takeaways

  • The best AI tools are not “crystal balls.” They shine when you treat them as signal boosters rather than trade execution engines.

  • Where they really help: saving time, catching unusual activity, and filtering information overload.

  • Where they fall short: they can’t replace proper risk management or discipline.

I’m curious — has anyone else here tried these or other AI platforms for trading? Did you find they actually gave you an edge, or just more noise to filter through?

Hey everyone!

So, I used to casually trade crypto (never got into day trading, just basic investing), but these days I'm not active. Instead, I've been working on building a crypto analytics dashboard, something different and hopefully more useful than what's already out there on platforms.

I’d really love your help with this:

  • What kind of analytics or insights do you feel are missing from the tools you're using right now?
  • Do any of you regularly check or use whale movements in your trading or investing decisions?
  • Are you interested in things like AI-powered sentiment analysis, tracking social media trends in real-time, or even smart-money wallet tracking?
  • Are there specific metrics or indicators you'd love to have easily accessible that currently aren't provided by existing platforms?

Honestly, any feedback, thoughts, or suggestions would be awesome. I'm super keen to hear what features could make your trading life easier or more enjoyable!

What are some tools you use to help analyze products and market trends? Does it make sense to use Gemini/GPT if I use it for stocks? What are currently the best crypto specific agents?

I am interested in sentiment tools, but I am not fully convinced most retail sentiment signals are useful on their own.

Tracking Users, X, StockTwits, news tone, analyst upgrades, and earnings-call language can be useful. But sentiment can also become a trap.

A stock being popular does not always mean it is strong. Sometimes it just means the trade is crowded. A surge in bullish posts can signal momentum, but it can also mean the easy money has already been made.

For me, sentiment only becomes useful when it is combined with price, volume, fundamentals, and timing.

If everyone is suddenly bullish after a huge move, that may be a warning rather than a signal.

Do you use any sentiment tool for trading or investing?

What would make sentiment analysis actually useful: source quality, early alerts, crowding warnings, or comparison with price action?

If anyone is interested, I’m happy to share more details.

Please, don't. Thanks a lot!!

For altcoin discovery, Twitter + Telegram + DexScreener honestly beats most paid tools. Sounds dumb but social sentiment and volume spikes on SOL or Base memes show up there first. Analytics tools usually lag.

Nansen is still the first site I open when I want a macro snapshot. BTC supply in profit, long term holder behavior, exchange balances.

Usually Twitter.

First of all, I'd like to congratulate you. What you're putting together looks really promising, and in the long run, it could be a very useful tool. If you put in the work, I'm sure that one day it will be a tool that everyone uses.

There's a direct relationship between the market, news, and investor sentiment in crypto. Obviously, it won't predict the price, but it will predict when it's a good time to buy and when it's likely to rise, simply because your tool will show inconsistencies when the news is bad and the technical data is bad.

Market manipulation is commonplace in crypto. Let me know how it goes!

This already exist, it's called the fear/greed index.

Sentiment is underrated. I use LunarCrush occasionally, not perfect but gives a decent read on when narratives are overheating.

Been trading crypto full time for ~3 years. Still haven’t found a true all in one that doesn’t compromise somewhere. My stack is TradingView for TA, Nansen for on chain smart money, CoinGlass for funding/open interest. Expensive, but each does its job well.

try and tell me your opinion. It is based on Fibonacci and RSI

For derivatives, CoinGlass is my go to website. Funding rates, liquidations, open interest across exchanges. If you trade BTC or ETH perps, it’s almost mandatory.

I use DefiLlama daily. TVL changes, chain flows, bridge data. It’s one of the few crypto analytics sites that feels neutral and not trying to sell me a narrative.

Hi everyone,

I’m currently building a news driven crypto market sentiment analysis platform, and I wanted to get some honest feedback from you guys...

The idea is pretty simple.

I’m combining a crypto news aggregator (mostly large crypto news platforms like Cointelegraph and similar sources for now) with an AI driven, multifactor sentiment analysis model.

The goal is to help create a daily overview of the crypto market narrative. It is basically answering questions like:

  1. Are current news cycles mostly positive or negative?
  2. How strong are the narratives right now?
  3. Are things getting more optimistic or more fearful?

To make this easier to understand, I summarize everything into a single index value that represents the current overall news sentiment and narrative strength. But this index is not meant to predict Bitcoin price, and it is not necessarily correlated with BTC price movements.
It’s more meant as a high-level overview tool.. because it is purely driven by news narratives. So something you can look at to quickly understand the current news mood and narrative pressure in the market.

Right now this is still early stage. I’m mainly testing the data pipeline, validating the sentiment model, and checking how stable the index behaves over time. Furthermore, I plan to integrate real time Twitter signals as well later, since narratives often move there first.

One thing I’m unsure about is the audience side. I follow the crypto market daily and read a lot of news, but I’m not actively trading or investing since around 2021. So I’m honestly not sure anymore where active investors get most of their information today. Is it mostly Twitter? Discord? Telegram? Something else?

Would you personally use something like this? What features would make this actually useful for you? Where do you usually discover tools like this? and Is there something missing in your current information workflow?

If anyone is interested, I’m happy to share more details.

Thanks a lot!!

I’ve been trying to get more serious about crypto trading lately, and one thing that stands out is how much harder it is to find good AI tooling compared to equities.

With stocks, there are tons of platforms that summarize earnings, track institutional flows, analyze sentiment, and surface important signals pretty quickly. In crypto, it still feels like you have to manually dig through X, Discord, Telegram, on-chain dashboards, and news just to understand why something is moving.

I’ve tested general models like GPT and Gemini, but they seem better at explaining concepts than identifying actionable insights. Two week ago ChatGPT even told me gold was a good investment. They can tell me what a protocol does, but not necessarily whether a narrative is gaining traction or if smart money is positioning early.

So I’m curious what people here are actually using.

Are there crypto-native AI agents that genuinely help your workflow? Things like narrative detection, wallet tracking, sentiment analysis, anomaly alerts, etc.

Not looking for hype tools, more interested in platforms you feel give real signal or at least save you serious research time.

Do you trust AI enough yet to influence trades, or is it still more of a research assistant?

Would love to hear what’s worth trying and what’s overrated.

For derivatives and funding rates Coinglass is the standard.
DefiLlama for flows, CoinGlass for derivatives, Glassnode for macro BTC. That combo gives me the clearest crypto analysis without hype.
If I want a quick market overview, I usually open DefiLlama + CoinGlass together. One for spot/on chain context, one for derivatives analytics.
I stopped chasing best crypto analytics tool and focused on process. The tool matters less than how you interpret the data.
