In a couple weeks, I hope the answer is Longlegs
Missing a few but still let me know your favorite :)
Technically, it didn’t scare me, but it was the only one this year so far to make me feel uneasy: Late Night With the Devil.
I’ve watched a lot of horror movies, but have yet to watch anything from this year.
What horror movie from this year (so far) scared you the most? We can extend that to whatever horror movie from this year you enjoyed the most too.
Probably unpopular but I really loved Alien Romulus. Just found it so immersive and the score is incredible.
The substance a close second though, also exceptional
Night swim scared me at how bad it was
Hello!
I’ve been really into horror movies recently and want some suggestions. I prefer jump scare type movies that will have you scared the next week straight lmao. I don’t really watch movies either, the best example I can give tho is Hereditary. Either way leave your best suggestions :))
Ps : thanks for all the replies, I now have so many movies to look forward to :)
Man I love this sub. Everyday I get a new post recommended I can save and probably never look at again
Oddity have the best jump scares of the year.
My top 5 so far:
Alien: Romulus (Fede Alvarez = amazing horror)
Longlegs (NOT OOONCE NOT TWIIICE)
Late Night With The Devil (Very entertaining)
Maxxxine (Kinda underrated, a love letter to giallo)
The First Omen (Surprisingly well done for a prequel and suspiciously similar to Immaculate)
Out of those I'd personally go for Late Night With The Devil.
I missed The Substance in theaters, so I am waiting for it to hit streaming. My favorite is Longlegs. Abigail was the most fun.
The Substance, Smile 2 and Nosferatu
Late Night With The Devil, Longlegs, and Nosferatu
Terrifier 3, The Substance and Longlegs
