Top Solana DEXs for Swaps and Leverage Trading

Jupiter is the top Solana DEX for swaps, according to users, because it aggregates most other DEXs and lets you control fees and slippage manually. Raydium and Orca round out the big three that most people actually use for volume. For leverage, users point to Hyperliquid and Drift, and Jupiter also runs a perps platform with stop losses.

Other platforms come up for specific needs. Phoenix and Lifinity are gaining traction for advanced trading setups and different liquidity models. Meteora, Marinade, Saros, and Fluxbeam get named as well, and Drift offers spot alongside its perps. An aggregator like Jupiter can save fees by routing across many venues, while a direct DEX can make more sense for very low liquidity pairs.

A few settings matter for safety. With a small stack like 1 SOL, keep slippage tight, which Jupiter lets you set manually. Set a price impact warning around 1 to 2 percent so a thin pair does not wreck your trade. Some other platforms route through Jupiter anyway, so using it directly can avoid paying extra fees on top.

  6. Drift Perps platform that also has spot, recommended for leverage trading
  7. Hyperliquid Popular for leverage trading with high leverage options and no KYC
  8. Other mentions Meteora, Marinade, Saros, and Fluxbeam also appear in user lists

Aggregators vs. Direct DEXs: Aggregators like Jupiter can save fees by routing through various DEXs, but direct DEXs might be better for very low liquidity pairs. Price Impact Warnings: Setting price impact warnings can prevent significant losses on low liquidity pairs. "Also set a price impact warning at like 1-2% so you don't get wrecked on a low liquidity pair"

Solana generated more DEX volume in 24h than Ethereum, Tron, BNB Chain, and Hyperliquid combined.

Solana's DEX volume genuinely has been strong recently — sitting in the $2B+ range over the last 24h per DefiLlama, with ~$65B over 30 days. That's a real number and worth talking about.

Looking for a DEX that handles swaps between Ethereum and Solana smoothly/low fees, decent speed.

What are you actually using in 2026 for cross-chain swaps like ETH>SOL? I’d prefer something non-custodial that works from my own wallet.

[EDIT]: Tried flips.exchange after seeing it mentioned , swapped ETH to SOL instant, fees were minimal, no sign-up needed. Finally a solid option thanks yall!!

I have only used Terminal Padre for trading Memecoins but I want to trade BTC, SOL and other stuff. Wondering if there is a reputable DEX trading bot that most use for this? Please recommend me what to use?

Also if I enter a position on SOL is there a way for me to set a stop loss to avoid losing anything? So when I’m about to lose out it will convert my SOL to USDC.

Hello Solana community,

Let's discuss effective strategies for navigating price fluctuations on Solana decentralized exchanges (DEXs), particularly in scenarios where traditional limit order book dynamics do not apply. When aiming to catch quick price movements, selecting the right approach becomes crucial.

Here's an analysis of the effectiveness of different methods:

  1. **Utilizing jup.ag:** While jup.ag offers a consolidated view of multiple DEXs, its effectiveness in executing limit orders during rapid price changes can vary. One challenge is liquidity. At times, there might not be sufficient liquidity on jup.ag to fill orders at desired prices, especially during significant market swings. Additionally, delays in price updates to the keepers could result in missed opportunities.

  1. **Focusing on a Specific DEX:** Concentrating on a particular DEX where the asset is predominantly traded might offer more consistent results. However, liquidity concerns persist, and not all DEXs may handle sudden price fluctuations optimally.

  1. **Considering Telegram Bots:** Telegram bots can provide real-time updates and alerts, aiding in catching price movements. However, they might not facilitate direct trade execution and could lag behind the market, potentially leading to missed trades.

  1. **Engaging in Manual Monitoring and Swapping:** Despite being hands-on, monitoring the market manually and executing swaps can be effective during volatile periods. Real-time decision-making enables traders to capitalize on sudden price changes efficiently. Nonetheless, this approach demands constant vigilance and quick responses and can be exhausting.

In conclusion, our quest to navigate price fluctuations on Solana DEXs boils down to identifying the most reliable strategy. Your experiences and insights are invaluable in this pursuit. I invite you to share your experiences and insights on which methods have yielded the best results for you!

Hey guys, does anyone of ya'll know a Solana DEX that lets you leverage trade small amounts of Solana? What I'm looking for:

-a DEX that supports Solana for leverage-trading purposes
-amount of leverage allowed should be as high as possible (if possible, 10-100x+)
-it shouldn't require any KYC
-lets you leverage-trade with lower amounts of SOL (for example, 0.1 or 0.2 SOL)
-must be legit and safe to use!

If anyone knows such a DEX, I'd appreciate if anyone could recommend me something🔥

Thanks in advance to anyone who's gonna recommend me something decent❤️

Jupiter, Raydium, Orca, Phoenix, Lifinity, Meteora, Marinade, Saros, Drift (perps but has spot), Fluxbeam.

Jupiter aggregates most of them anyway so that's usually your best bet for swaps.

Looking to discuss what tools people are using for volume and liquidity on Solana DEXs right now.

The Solana DeFi space has grown massively and pump.fun alone has generated billions in volume. But one of the biggest challenges for new token launches is maintaining healthy trading volume after the initial hype dies down.

I have been exploring different approaches:

  1. Manual market making - time consuming and requires constant monitoring

  2. Traditional MM services - expensive, usually $5k+ monthly minimums

  3. Volume bots - automated tools that generate organic looking trading activity

For option 3 I have had good results with bot.autohustle.online. It is specifically built for pump.fun tokens on Solana and handles the volume generation automatically. The main advantage is that it keeps your chart active which helps attract real organic traders.

The way I see it, volume is basically the lifeblood of any new token. Without it you have no price discovery, no chart activity, and no reason for anyone to look at your project.

Curious what other tools or strategies people here are using for Solana liquidity and volume. Are you doing it manually or using automation? What has worked and what has not?

Keep it simple, stick with Hyperliquid or products that are built on Hyperliquid.
There are already platforms that give you stats on Hyperliquid top traders and markets (such as SOL) like hyperdash.info or shotgun.fun.
They give info like market sentiment or stats based on trader that have open orders, I find that info quite helpful to when thinking about opening a Long or a Short.

PumpSwap, Meteora, and the three you named are all high volume.

If you must, Jupiter is good and you can manually adjust your fees. Photon and axiom are "trading bots/terminals" that have their own higher fees and often end up routing thru jup anyway.

Word of advice from someone who though the same thing as you in late 2024. Don't even mess with memes. Buy BTC and forget for 2-3 years. If you are going to trade memes with one sol, buy in 0.05 (or less) clips and clip out when you're up. Small profits are better than none.

But honestly just do your research. Memes are negative EV especially right now.

So, I'm 17 n I've just been growing my capital for the past few months all the way from 5 dollars to a 100. So, I thought it was bout time I give this memecoin thingy a try. I've got low capital ≈1 sol

Can sm1 recommend me a trusted dex? I've got axiom, jupiter, photon in mind but really not sure which 1 to go with.

Jupiter is the way to go, take a look at this

Great list to start! You might also want to check out Serum and Mercurial. Both have solid reputations and good volume. Curious to see how they evolve with the growing Solana ecosystem! What’s your experience with these platforms?

Jupiter for everything axiom and photon route through jup half the time anyway so you're just paying extra fees on top with 1 sol you want to keep slippage tight and jup lets you set that manually. Also set a price impact warning at like 1-2% so you don't get wrecked on a low liquidity pair

You already named the big three most people actually use for volume on Solana.
- Drift: Recommended for leverage trading on Solana.
- Phoenix: Gaining traction for advanced trading setups and different liquidity models.
### Considerations for Using Solana DEXs
- Aggregators vs. Direct DEXs: Aggregators like Jupiter can save fees by routing through various DEXs, but direct DEXs might be better for very low liquidity pairs.
- Price Impact Warnings: Setting price impact warnings can prevent significant losses on low liquidity pairs.
- Perpetuals Platforms: Platforms like Jupiter offer perpetuals with stop-loss features for managing risk.
